Lexus India on Tuesday announced an enhancement to its standard vehicle warranty to eight years or 200,000 km for all new vehicles sold from April 1, 2026, in a move aimed at strengthening after-sales support in the luxury car market.

According to the official press release, the revised warranty will apply across the company’s full product range in India and will be offered at no additional cost to buyers.

The development comes as automakers increasingly focus on ownership experience and long-term service assurance to attract customers in the premium and luxury vehicle segments.

“This enhancement also reinforces our commitment to continuous improvement, exceeding guests’ expectations and setting new benchmarks in the Indian luxury automotive market,” said Hikaru Ikeuchi, President of Lexus India.

With the updated coverage, Lexus becomes the first luxury carmaker in India to introduce an eight-year warranty package of this scale, setting a new benchmark in the segment.
