The company also produced 4,400 Super Carry light commercial vehicles during the month, compared with 3,788 units in July 2025.Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (MSIL) on Saturday reported a 33.4 per cent year-on-year increase in passenger vehicle production to 2,44,445 units in July 2026, compared with 1,83,285 units in the corresponding month last year.
Including light commercial vehicles (LCVs), the company’s total production rose 33 per cent to 2,48,845 units, up from 1,87,073 units in July 2025.
Production of utility vehicles, comprising the Brezza, Ertiga, e Vitara, Fronx, Jimny, Victoris, XL6 and OEM models, surged to 1,02,787 units, compared with 70,241 units in the year-ago month.
Production of compact cars, including the Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, WagonR and OEM models, increased to 1,13,067 units from 87,950 units a year earlier.
Mini cars, comprising the Alto and S-Presso, recorded production of 13,964 units, up from 11,484 units, while Eeco van production rose to 14,627 units from 13,610 units.
