Kia India on Saturday said it achieved its highest-ever monthly sales in October 2025, selling 29,556 units, registering a 30 per cent increase over the 22,735 units recorded in the same month last year. This marks the automaker’s best monthly performance since it began operations in India.

The growth was driven primarily by the Sonet, which posted its highest-ever sales at 12,745 units, emerging as the brand’s top performer. The newly launched Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV also contributed significantly, recording a combined total of 8,779 units. Meanwhile, the Seltos, Kia’s flagship SUV, maintained steady demand with 7,130 units sold during the month.

The Carens Clavis EV, Kia’s first made-in-India seven-seater mass-premium electric vehicle, received strong market traction, highlighting the company’s growing foothold in India’s EV segment.

“October 2025 marks a historic milestone in Kia India’s journey. This achievement is a testament to the trust of millions of customers who believe in Kia’s promise of innovation and progress. The growing contribution of our EV range further validates our direction towards future-ready, sustainable mobility solutions for India,” said Atul Sood, Senior Vice-President and National Head, Sales and Marketing, Kia India.

The company reported a 10 per cent year-to-date (YTD) growth, with 236,138 units sold in 2025 so far, compared with 215,443 units during the same period last year.
