Kia India on Friday reported its highest-ever April wholesale sales since entering the Indian market, at 27,286 units, marking a 16 per cent year-on-year increase from 23,623 units in April 2025.

The growth was led by the Kia Seltos, which remained the company’s top-selling model during the month. The Kia Sonet and Kia Carens also contributed significantly, with both Seltos and Sonet crossing the 10,000-unit mark in April.

For the year to date, the automaker posted domestic sales of 111,611 units, up 13 per cent from 99,199 units in the same period last year, reflecting steady demand across its portfolio.

Atul Sood, Senior Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India said, “Our highest-ever April performance builds on the steady growth we have seen over the past several months. This momentum is being led by the new Kia Seltos, with Sonet and Carens along with Clavis continuing to strengthen our presence across key segments through ongoing enhancements. The expansion of our service network further reflects our focus on improving accessibility and delivering seamless ownership experience to customers.”

Kia said the performance reflects continued consumer preference for feature-rich and connected vehicles, alongside a focus on improving ownership experience. The company has also expanded its after-sales footprint to 500 workshops, strengthening service accessibility.

The automaker’s sales network now spans 891 touchpoints across 396 cities, supported by 128 certified pre-owned outlets.

Kia India recently crossed a cumulative domestic sales milestone of 1.5 million units, with the Seltos contributing over 41 per cent of total volumes, followed by Sonet at 36 per cent and Carens at 20 per cent.

The company said it remains focused on sustaining growth momentum by expanding its portfolio and enhancing customer experience in line with evolving market demand.
