Jeep India has introduced the Meridian Track Edition, a limited-run variant based on the Meridian Overland, with updates to cabin configuration and exterior detailing.

The Track Edition includes a 140 mm full-forward sliding second row aimed at improving third-row access and cabin flexibility. The update was developed in response to customer feedback on long-distance comfort, the company said in a press release on Monday.

Powertrain and pricing

The Meridian Track AT is priced at ₹35,95,000, while the Meridian Track AT 4×4 is priced at ₹37,82,000. An additional AXS pack of ₹9,200 is mandatory. The Track Edition continues with a 2.0-litre MultiJet II diesel engine producing 170 HP and 350 Nm, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission in 2WD and 4WD configurations.

It also retains Jeep’s Selec-Terrain system and features including a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, Alpine audio system, panoramic sunroof, powered ventilated seats and Level 2 ADAS functions.

Exterior and interior changes

The edition features Piano Black accents on the grille, badges and exterior mouldings, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a Dark Espresso grille with Neutral Grey highlights, a hood decal and Track Edition insignia. “The Meridian Track Edition introduces a crafted, more expressive take on our premium seven-seater while delivering the enhanced flexibility customers have asked for. With the new sliding second row, we’ve created the most comfortable Jeep Meridian ever, complemented by the confidence and reassurance of Jeep Confidence 7,” said Kumar Priyesh, business head and director – automotive brands, Stellantis India.

Inside, the vehicle gets a dual-tone Tupelo interior with suede inserts, contrast stitching and quilting on seats and bolsters, Dark Espresso accents with Piano Black bezels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and Track Edition appliqués across the cabin and floor mats.
