Citroën India has expanded its X-Series portfolio with the launch of the new Citroën Aircross X at ₹8.29 lakh. The launch builds on the brand’s Citroën 2.0 – “Shift Into the New” strategic plan and follows the success of the recently introduced New Basalt X, as per the release.

The New Aircross X will be offered in two engine options, two transmissions, ICE and CNG variants, with 10 colour choices and three interior trims. Flexible seating configurations include 7-seater and 5-seater options, catering to diverse family needs.

Features

The SUV offers a roomy cabin with a flexible 7-seater layout, wide shoulder room, and up to 511 litres of boot space, making it ideal for long family trips. Citroën’s Advanced Comfort Suspension, engineered for Indian roads, delivers a “flying carpet ride,” gliding over potholes and bumps. The exterior features a bold stance, signature DRLs, dual-tone colour options, and gold-accented interiors, blending rugged SUV presence with French styling. The 200 mm ground clearance, smart storage solutions, and roof-mounted air-conditioning vents for the second and third rows enhance practicality and comfort for daily commutes and highway drives.

The SUV also comes with CARA, an intuitive, multilingual assistant that supports 52 Indian and global languages, controls vehicle essentials, connects to music, calls, reminders, and navigation, and prioritises safety with SOS alerts and crash notifications.

Kumar Priyesh, Business Head & Director – Automotive Brands, Stellantis India, said: “The New Aircross X is an SUV designed around the real needs of Indian families – space, comfort, safety, and smart innovation. With CARA, we’re making mobility more intuitive and personal. It blends family SUV practicality with X-Series premium design, making it aspirational yet accessible.”
