Balbir Singh Dhillon, head of Audi India said “The Audi SQ8 strengthens our high performance SUV line-up in India”.German luxury carmaker Audi on Tuesday announced the expansion of its premium SUV portfolio in India with the launch of the performance-focused Audi SQ8, priced at ₹1,77,72,000 (ex-showroom). The model strengthens the brand’s Q range and is positioned between the Audi Q8 and the Audi RS Q8 Performance.
The Audi SQ8 is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 TFSI engine delivering 373 kW of power and 770 Nm of torque. According to the company’s statement, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h. It comes equipped with Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system, adaptive air suspension sport and all-wheel steering to enhance driving dynamics and handling.

The SUV features HD Matrix LED headlights with laser light technology, S-specific styling elements, frameless doors and a panoramic sunroof. Inside, it comes with sport seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, four-zone climate control and Audi’s virtual cockpit with MMI navigation system. A Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system with 17 speakers is also part of the package.
On the safety front, the vehicle includes eight airbags, park assist with 360-degree cameras and driver assistance features such as cruise control and Audi Pre Sense systems.
Audi is offering the SQ8 with a 10-year complimentary roadside assistance package along with service and maintenance plans. The model is available in eight exterior colour options, with additional customisation choices under the Audi Exclusive programme.
