BYD opens bookings for SEALION 7 First Anniversary Edition

BYD India on Tuesday opened bookings for the SEALION 7 First Anniversary Edition in India , with prices starting at ₹49.40 lakh (ex-showroom).

Bookings can be made with an initial amount of ₹70,000. The First Anniversary Edition also introduces a distinctive Tahiti Blue interior colour theme.

According to the company, the special edition of the electric SUV will be available in Premium and Performance variants, priced at ₹49.40 lakh and ₹54.90 lakh respectively, both powered by an 82.56 kWh battery.

The Performance variant accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, while the Premium variant achieves the same in 6.7 seconds. The SEALION 7 offers a range of 542 km for the Performance variant and 567 km for the Premium variant (NEDC).

“With exclusive benefits for the first 1100 customers only and enhanced ownership advantages such as the 8-year Low Voltage Battery warranty, we aim to make premium electric mobility even more compelling for Indian consumers,” said Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles (EPV) Business at BYD India.

The company said the offers are valid only for first 1100 customers and bookings made till April 30, 2026.

The anniversary edition will be offered with a limited set of benefits for early customers and will feature a new interior colour theme. The model continues with existing battery warranty coverage and performance specifications.

The SEALION 7, first showcased in India at the Bharat Expo 2025, has recorded over 2,500 units in sales so far.
