‘Dhurandhar’ day 3 (LIVE): The film inches towards Rs 90 crore

'Dhurandhar' box office collection day 3 (LIVE): The Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan sees huge jump on Sunday, inches towards Rs 90 crore

Aditya Dhar’s ‘Dhurandhar’ starring with an ensemble cast comprising of Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjum Rampal and others released in cinemas on Friday, December 5. The film had high expectations and the day 1 numbers surpassed them. ‘Dhurandhar’ made a whopping Rs 28 crore on day 1, thus, becoming the biggest opener ever for Ranveer Singh, beating ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘Simmba’. Dhurandhar Movie ReviewAs far as Ranveer’s post pandemic movies are concerned, ’83’ had made Rs 12 crore on the opening day while ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ made Rs 11.1 crore on day 1. Meanwhile, the film saw some growth on day 2. It made Rs 32 crore Saturday. Now on day 3, which is Sunday, the collection till evening is is Rs 29.23 crore. The total collection, so far, according to Sacnilk, now stands at Rs 89.23 crore.

‘Dhurandhar’ Review : Ranveer Singh’s Action Thriller Off To Roaring Start!

The film may be expected to see more growth on Sunday. By the end of day 3, with the night show numbers included, it should be able to cross Rs 80 crore. The film is doing well in areas like Mumbai, NCR, Pune, Bengaluru. While the weekend numbers are decent, the real test will begin from Monday onwards, if the film is able to keep its pace steady. Meanwhile, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ which is also running in theatres well, saw growth on Saturday, despite the release of ‘Dhurandhar’. The film made Rs 5.7 crore on Saturday, which was its day 9 after making Rs 3.75 crore on Friday when ‘Dhurandhar’ released.
