When Diljit Dosanjh felt Chamkila’s presence, as if he was watching him

Diljit, during his conversation with Netflix, revealed that there was a shot in the trailer that made him emotional. Though he knew it was him playing a character on the screen and it was the character looking at the camera, to him it felt as if Chamkila was watching him. He said, “The first time I saw the trailer of Amar Singh Chamkila was backstage on the day of the trailer launch. There was a shot in the film where I had to sit in the field, turn around, look at the camera, and smile, but when I saw that shot in the trailer, where my character of Chamkila, turned around and looked at me, I felt like Chamkila himself was watching me and smiling. That got me very emotional; I could actually feel Chamkila’s presence there. ”

They never get the love they deserve,” he shared.Lauding the late artist Dosanjh added, “Chamkila was a hundred times better an artist than I am, and I want to thank Chamkila for giving me the chance to do his biopic. The world’s finest artists will be sitting there, and they’ll be talking about Chamkila, and I’m here for Chamkila. Even though he’s gone, he is still a hit.
