‘De De Pyaar De 2’ continued its steady run at the box office. The film, that is in its third, saw minimal growth at the ticket windows on Sunday, thus closing its third weekend collections, just under the Rs 4 crore mark.

According to early estimates on Sacnilk, the Ajay Devgn starrer earned an estimated Rs 1.40 crore on Day 17. The film recorded a 10% jump on Sunday, following a strong 50% surge on Saturday with the film earning an estimated Rs 1.35 crore. These collections followed a collection of Rs 85 lakh on its third Friday. This brings the film’s third-weekend total to Rs 3.60 crore.The sequel of the hit rom-com began its box office run, with an estimated Rs 51.1 crore. It saw a major drop in collections, earning an estimated Rs 16.4 crore.

‘De De Pyaar De 2’ total collection

The 17-day domestic collection of the film now stands at an estimated Rs 71.10 crore.It remains to be seen if the sequel has what it takes to cross the Rs 100 crore mark and beat the Rs 104 lifetime collection of its 2023 predecessor.

December box office clash

According to reports, the film is expected to slip below Rs 1 crore on Monday, with only a marginal growth anticipated on Tuesday. The film is facing major competition at the box office with films including ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, and the Hollywood release ‘Zootopia 2’ drawing in the audiences. With films like ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ gearing up for their releases in Decembers, the film is likely to lose most of its remaining screens.

‘De De Pyaar De 2’ OTT release

Meanwhile, the OTT debut of ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ is still a month away. According to the latest buzz, the film is expected to be released for online streaming in January 2026, approximately 4–8 weeks after its theatrical release.
