Virat Kohli celebrates 52nd ODI century by kissing wedding ring; fans gush over heartwarming gesture to wife Anushka Sharma

Virat kisses wedding ring

Kohli’s celebration after reaching his century quickly became one of the most talked-about moments of the match. The 37-year-old was seen pulling out his chain and kissing his wedding ring. This sweet gesture, widely believed to be a tribute to his wife, Anushka Sharma, didn’t go unnoticed by fans.

Fans react to sweet gesture

The gesture, which has become part of Kohli’s celebratory traditions, made hearts melt all over again, this time as Anushka is currently in England with the children. Taking to their handles, fans shared photos of the cricketer and wrote, “Virat completes his century, kisses his locket with Anushka’s ring in it, looks up at the sky seeking his father’s blessings, a moment beyond cricket.”

Virat and Anushka enjoying time together in UK

Kohli and Anushka reportedly relocated to the UK earlier this year to raise their children, Vamika and Akaay. During breaks between series and training sessions, Kohli has frequently been spotted around London, enjoying coffee runs with Anushka. The couple has also been spotted by fans, while out on park strolls, and running errands around their neighbourhood.
