'Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate': The film touches prisoners’ hearts in Vadodara- Watch

The Gujarati film ‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ has already created a wave in theatres, but now it has sparked an unexpected emotional transformation inside the walls of Vadodara Central Jail. The devotional drama was screened for nearly 1,800 inmates, and those who experienced it described the moment as nothing short of miraculous. Drawing parallels to the belief that Lord Krishna was born in a prison and went on to spread goodness in the world, prisoners felt the film’s message arrived at exactly the right time in their lives. A video posted from the official Laalo account captured several inmates explaining how deeply the story moved them and how it provoked a rare internal reflection.

Inmates speak of transformation and karma

Following the screening, many inmates opened up about their emotional response to the film, stating that it touched their minds and hearts. One inmate shared with News 18 Gujarati, “The story of this film was very good, the important thing was about karma, you get the result of what you do. What has happened is a different thing, but now the message that you should do good is given through the film. We found this film very impactful. ” Several inmates were even seen shedding tears, stating that the film encouraged them to look at their actions in a new light and consider how they want to live when they step out again.

Authorities call it a historic moment
