‘De De Pyaar De 2’ box office collection day 16

'De De Pyaar De 2' box office collection day 16: Ajay Devgn starrer manages to stay afloat, amid competition from new releases, 'Tere Ishq Mein,' and more

The unconventional love story ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ appealed to the mass audiences with the plot about a raging fight for love and a bridge between the generational gap, with a light comedy to spice the blend. After its release on November 14, 2025, the film has been performing better at the box office than the other contestants with varied releases. Being the sequel to the 2019 film, Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh starrer earned approximately Rs. 1.30 crore on Day 16, Saturday, November 29, 2025.

‘De De Pyaar De 2’: Overall performance

‘De De Pyaar De 2’ takes the contrasting route from the prequel of seeking the approval of Ayesha’s (Rakul Preet Singh) parents. While the film started moderately strong with Rs. 8.75 crore on day 1, the weekends added a lot of hype and rupees to the bank account by making Rs. 12.25 crore and Rs. 13.75 crore respectively. However, the weekdays saw a great decline in getting the theatre seats busy, according to Sacnilk. With a surreal alternating graph, the cash grab continues to vary. On Monday, the film earned Rs. 4.25 crore, and by the end of the week, the R. Madhavan starrer received Rs. 1.15 crore. The next week had a calmer tone with similar estimates, but the third week had a decline under Rs. 1 crore. On Day 14, Friday, November 28, 2025, ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ approximately earned Rs. 85 lakhs, and Saturday saw a slight increase with Rs. 1.30 crore. As per the latest updates, the Anshul Sharma directorial has earned Rs. 69.65 crores overall.

Box office numbers of other recent Bollywood releases

While the romantic comedy film hit the screens a week earlier than ‘120 Bahadur’ and ‘Mastiii 4,’ it continued to maintain its pace and perform better at the box office. On the recent Friday, ‘Tere Ishq Mein,’ starring Kriti Sanon and Dhanush, was released, which suggests a further drop in minting cash in the near future. Go to Source
