The couple got married in a simple ceremony with close family and friends, followed by a grand reception that was attended by many well-known guests.

On Instagram Stories, Mira uploaded a detailed snapshot of the reception invite from her wedding to Shahid Kapoor. The invitation stated: “We celebrate the beginning of their new life. Request the honour of your presence at the wedding reception of their dearest Mira & Shahid.”

The simple yet chic card named their parents: Bela and Vikramaditya Rajput, Neelima Azeem, Pankaj Kapoor, and Supriya Pathak. It listed the details: Date: Tuesday, July 7, 2015; Time: 7 to 10 in the Evening; Venue: Grand Ballroom, The Oberoi, Gurgaon.
