Tere Ishk Mein crosses Rs 1.75 crore mark for its Day 1 advance booking

Dhanush and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ crosses Rs 1.75 crore mark for its Day 1 advance booking

Tere Ishk Mein is seeing strong buzz ahead of its 28 November release, with ₹48.42 lakh in advance bookings and ₹1.28 crore in blocked seats. The Hindi version leads with 17,650 tickets sold, while Tamil adds modest support. With Dhanush–Aanand L Rai’s proven pairing and A.R. Rahman’s music boosting hype, trade expects a ₹10 crore opening.

Aanand L Rai’s upcoming intense romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, is building solid buzz as it heads toward its theatrical release on 28th November. The film, which marks Dhanush’s return to Rai’s world of emotionally charged storytelling after Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re, has opened to encouraging advance booking figures. As per early data, Tere Ishq Mein has clocked Rs 48.42 lakh in gross advance booking across India, with blocked seats pushing the overall number to Rs 1.77 crore. The Hindi version is naturally driving the momentum, contributing a majority chunk of the bookings. In the Hindi 2D version, the film has recorded a gross of Rs 48.30 lakh, selling 17,650 tickets across 3,889 shows.. The distribution footprint is extensive, signalling the makers’ confidence in the film’s pan-India appeal. The Tamil version has contributed a small but notable amount, with Rs 11,448 gross from 212 tickets sold across 10 shows. The combined figure across all languages brings the total Day 1 advance to Rs 48.41 lakh, with 17,862 tickets already sold nationwide. However, the more interesting layer comes from the blocked seats, which stand at Rs 1.28 crore, showing strong corporate and distributor-level confidence and indicating that several shows may fill up fast closer to release.Aanand L Rai’s reputation also plays a crucial role. Known for crafting love stories with deep emotional conflict, cultural specificity, and flawed yet memorable characters, Rai has built a brand-value in this genre. Dhanush’s collaborations with him have previously resulted in critically acclaimed and commercially successful films. Also the music by A R Rahman has been incredibly helpful in creating awareness about the film. With 28th November being a non-holiday release, the real test will be the film’s word-of-mouth. However, the current advance booking trends suggest that Tere Ishq Mein is set for a respectable start, and a surge on the final pre-release day could elevate the opening day significantly. The trade expects the film is expected to open around Rs 10 crore mark.
