Deepika reacts to a fan’s request for rom-com with Ranbir

Deepika Padukone REACTS to a fan's request of casting her and Ranbir Kapoor in a rom-com again: ‘Dono bohot zyada talented hai’

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor’s on-screen chemistry has always held a special place in the hearts of Bollywood fans. Even though they have starred together only in ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’, ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and ‘Tamasha’, their pairing remains one of the most loved in modern cinema. Nearly a decade has passed since they last shared the frame, yet the magic of their performances still lingers. And this week, that nostalgia turned into a wave of excitement when a passionate fan publicly begged filmmakers to reunite them in a rom-com!

Fan appeal sets social media buzzing

The viral reel featured an emotional request from a fan urging directors and producers to cast the two actors together again. She said, “This is a humble appeal to all directors and producers that can you guys please cast Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in a film together? Preferably a rom-com?” She then addressed the industry’s concerns about low audience turnout, adding, “Tum log bolte rehte ho picturey paise nahi kama rahi log theatre me nahi aa rahe. Tum cast toh karo saath mein unko.” (You all keep saying that films are not making money and people are not going to the theatres. Then at least cast them together.)As she continued, her excitement grew while describing the magic the two create even off-screen. She said, “Jis jodi ki public appearances itni zyaada buzz create kar deti hein woh waapis screen pe ayenge toh socho kya ho jayga! Oh god, I can’t even stop smiling thinking about it! Achche se script likho aur dono ko cast karo. Kyuki dono hi bohot zyada talented hai and itne khoobsurat lagte hai saath mein yaar (Their public appearances alone create so much buzz, now think what will happen when they come on screen together! So write a good script and cast these two. Because they are both very talented and look amazing together).”

Deepika Padukone’s subtle like creates instant speculation

The reel might have been one among many fan-made videos, but everything changed when Deepika Padukone liked it. Fans noticed her reaction immediately, and the comments section erupted. One user wrote, “Deepika liked this reel omg.” Another added, “She liked!! That means DP is ready!” Her single like sparked fresh speculation across social media, with many fans reading it as a sign that she may be open to a reunion.
