Delhi Car Blast: Mufti Irfan Admits Kashmir Terror Outfit Plan, AK-47 visits revealed

A major breakthrough has emerged in the Delhi blast investigation, as arrested cleric Mufti Irfan has made several critical disclosures during NIA interrogation. According to sources, Irfan revealed that a plan was underway to strengthen a local militant outfit in Kashmir. He stated that Umar, Adil, Mujammil, and Shaheen frequently visited his house carrying AK-47 rifles, indicating deeper involvement in terror activities. The NIA will soon conduct face-to-face questioning of all suspects. If contradictions appear in their statements, separate rounds of interrogation will follow. Irfan also confessed that he was heavily inspired by Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, an Al-Qaeda–linked organization, and had intentions of joining it. He further shared that he first met another Mujammil who was later killed in an encounter during his student days. That Mujammil tried convincing him to join the organization. Later, the current arrested suspect Dr. Mujammil, who claims to be a friend of the deceased militant, also pushed the same agenda. Irfan stated that due to distrust in Pakistan-based handlers, Dr. Mujammil wanted to create and strengthen a separate terror outfit within Kashmir, signaling a dangerous plan to revive local militancy.
