Right-wing commentator Nick Fuentes says GOP must be ‘replaced’ with a left–right coalition: ‘That party would win 90% of votes’

In a bold statement, commentator Nick Fuentes has called for a radical overhaul of the Republican Party, emphasizing the need for a fresh populist alliance. He believes that the GOP has become too entwined with corporate interests and foreign labor immigration programs like H-1B visas, leaving American workers in the lurch.

Right-wing commentator Nick Fuentes launched an aggressive attack on the Republican Party, saying the GOP should be “destroyed” and replaced with a new populist coalition that rejects foreign labour programmes such as H-1B visas. In a lengthy monologue, Fuentes claimed the current Republican leadership serves corporate donors and technology companies rather than American workers.Fuentes argued that the GOP has abandoned its base by defending immigration channels used by major industries. He said the party “still provide[s] for H-1B visas” and continues to support Chinese students, blaming this alignment with Silicon Valley for undermining wages and opportunities for young Americans. According to Fuentes, the party’s stance on immigration and foreign labour shows it is no longer acting in the interests of ordinary citizens. He said there are growing grievances within the nationalist MAGA base, arguing that Republican leaders have backed down on tariffs, maintained corporate tax cuts and supported the same labour pipelines used by big agriculture, hospitality and construction. For Fuentes, the H-1B system has become a symbol of how the party has sided with business over American workers.

A populist coalition?

He called for a political realignment built on cooperation between nationalist Republicans and populist Democrats, describing it as a coalition that would prioritise borders, reduce foreign influence and challenge entrenched economic interests. Fuentes suggested that issues like the release of the Epstein files and ending foreign aid to Israel could unite both sides and that such a platform would have huge public support. The centrepiece of his proposal is what he calls a “populist compromise”: the left would “give up immigration”, including both legal and illegal inflows, and the right would “give up on the free market” by accepting a larger social safety net, healthcare intervention and public subsidies. He claimed this alignment could form a movement capable of winning “90 per cent of the vote”.
