IPL 2026 Dates Announced? League To Kick Off In This Month

The 19th edition of Indian Premier League is set to begin shortly after the conclusion of T20 World Cup 2026. Reports circulating on social media indicate that IPL 2026 will kick off on March 15, seven days after T20 World Cup final on March 8, 2026.

The tournament is expected to run until May 31, with final scheduled on the same day. This season promises high-octane cricket action as all ten franchises have released their retention lists and prepare for the auction.

IPL 2026 auction will be held on December 16, 2025, where teams will bid for remaining players to complete their squads.
