Army veteran calls the film a powerful visualisation

Another added after a special screening for the COAS, “120 Bahadur! Got a unique opportunity to see the film at a special screening for the COAS. A very well made movie, with a powerful visualisation of the battle …Having walked up the Rezang La pass myself a couple of times, can vouch for the excellent picturisation. A must watch on 21 Nov !! Jai Hind”

Highlights visual impact and ensemble cast

Many highlighted the technical brilliance, “#120Bahadur is POWERFUL. The film is technically brilliant with excellent cinematography, impactful back ground score and impressive frames. Few scenes are visually stunning. #FarhanAkhtar is solid throughout. Full marks to the ensemble. #120BahadurReview”

Review praises emotional depth and authenticity

Another review pointed out both strengths and minor slow moments, “The film starts on an interesting note and has a good interval point. The making is authentic and filming across real locations is a major plus. The battle sequences are crisp, with razor sharp transitions. Even though conventional, the first half has its moments with blend of humour. The second half is rich in emotions and is interesting to watch. Few fragments are slow but the final impact compensates all of that. On the whole, it is an honest film that delivers whatever it promised through its assets.” These early responses show a promising opening for ‘120 Bahadur’.

‘120 Bahadur’ Plot

‘120 Bahadur’ brings to life one of the most heroic chapters in Indian military history, the Battle of Rezang La. The film is set during the 1962 Sino-Indian War and captures the harsh, high-altitude conditions of the Himalayas. At the centre of the story is Charlie Company, led by Major Shaitan Singh Bhati. Only 120 Indian soldiers stood against nearly 3,000 Chinese troops. Despite being heavily outnumbered, they refused to retreat. The film shows their fierce resistance, from rifle fire to bayonet and even hand-to-hand combat, highlighting extraordinary courage, loyalty, and sacrifice. The Battle of Rezang La is remembered as one of the bravest last stands in world military history, and ‘120 Bahadur’ aims to honour that legacy.

‘120 Bahadur’ cast

The film features Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, with Raashii Khanna, Vivan Bhatena, Ankit Siwach, Dhanveer Singh, Sahib Verma, Sparsh Walia, Ajinkya Deo, and Eijaz Khan in supporting roles.
