‘The Family Man’ is all set to arrive with Season 3, after keeping fans waiting for almost four years to see what happens next in Srikant Tiwari’s life. But before you all sit down to catch the latest chapter, here’s a recap of the story so far.

Recap of ‘The Family Man 2’

The second season of the popular web series showcased how Srikant Tiwari almost resigned from his post to settle for a corporate job. However, he eventually returned to the work he loves and met Rajji (Samantha Ruth). In the series, Bajpayee’s character managed to prevent the assassination of the Prime Minister of India and rescued his own daughter, all while his marriage with Suchitra Tiwari (played by Priyamani) was falling apart. At the end of season 2, the audience saw Srikant and Suchitra sitting at the kitchen table, having their post-dinner coffee together. The male lead was seen asking his wife what was bothering her. The scene then showed Priyamani’s character crying, with the screen going black. With that, the makers created a cliffhanger, hinting that the next season might focus on his family dynamics. In between the second season, Suchitra was shown getting closer to Arvind (Sharad Kelkar), due to the absence of her husband most of the time. However, the ending didn’t reveal if Priyamani actually confessed her issues and the truth in front of Srikant. And not just that, the makers didn’t reveal what happened between Arvind and Suchitra in Lonavala. The second installment ended with the story shifting to Kolkata. The viewers were shown an unknown man entering a dark apartment, switching on his computer, and typing, “The country is distracted.”

‘The Family Man: Season 1’

The first season of ‘The Family Man’ introduced the character of Srikant Tiwari, who tries his best to live the life of a middle-class man while secretly working as an intelligence officer at TASC. The agency is shown as an anti-terror unit of the NIA.The first installment of the show focused on a terror attack named Mission Zulfiqar, which was planned by ISI-backed operatives. Neeraj Madhav played the role of the mastermind of the attack. While TASC managed to prevent the attack, the high-pressure nature of the job resulted in friction between Srikant and Suchitra.
