US President Donald Trump has said that he seeks a deal with Iran and believes Tehran does too. Speaking alongside Saudi Crown Prince at the White House, Trump claimed Tehran “badly wants to make a deal” and that he is “open to it.” Washington was engaged in talks with Tehran over its disputed nuclear program earlier this year with a 60-day ultimatum. On June 13, Israel launched a surprise military campaign which was capped with US strikes on June 22, targeting key Iranian nuclear sites. Trump, meanwhile, boasted about US airstrikes on Iran, claiming that the attacks “obliterated a very serious nuclear threat.” Trump also defended the US airstrikes, calling it “the right thing to do”, which he said put Saudi Arabia “in a very good position”n18oc_crux | n18oc_world 0:00 INTRODUCTION2:48 IRAN READY TO DISCUSS ‘ONLY LEVEL OF URANIUM ENRICHMENT’4:06 IRAN’S ELITE BASIJ FORCES TO UNVEIL NEXT-GEN DRONES5:15 IRAN TO CONSIDER RUSSIAN, CHINESE MEDIATION
