Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was among the distinguished guests — including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, and Union Ministers Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu and G. Kishan Reddy — who took part in the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh.During the event, Aishwarya delivered a moving and insightful address touching upon caste, religion, and unity. She highlighted the significance of compassion and humanity, sharing a heartfelt message with the audience.”There is only one caste, the caste of humanity. There is only one religion, the religion of love. There is only one language, the language of the heart, and there is only one God, and he is omnipresent,” the actress said. The video from the gathering shows the crowd responding with appreciative applause to her powerful words during the Sri Sathya Sai Baba centenary programme.Sri Sathya Sai Baba remains one of the world’s most revered spiritual figures, admired by millions globally. Born Sathyanarayana Raju on November 23, 1926, in Puttaparthi, he dedicated his life to spreading messages of love, selfless service, and harmony. His teachings and humanitarian work impacted countless lives. He passed away on April 24, 2011, at 84, but his followers worldwide continue to honour his legacy with deep reverence.
