Manya Anand drops shocking ‘adjustment’ claim linked to Dhanush film

Manya Anand drops shocking ‘adjustment’ claim linked to Dhanush film; netizens recall manager’s fraud alert

Actress Manya Anand has made a serious claim about receiving inappropriate requests for a Dhanush film. She stated that individuals, claiming to be from Dhanush’s team, asked for ‘commitments’ beyond acting. This has led to discussions online, with many recalling a previous warning from Dhanush’s manager about impersonators. The incident highlights ongoing challenges for women in the entertainment industry.

Actor Dhanush, who often finds himself at the centre of Kollywood controversies, has once again been dragged into a new storm—one that can’t be brushed aside as mere rumour. This time, an actress has made a direct allegation in an interview, causing a major stir online. Actress Manya Anand, known for her work in popular Tamil television serials, has claimed that she received “adjustment” requests allegedly in connection with a Dhanush film. Her interview has since gone viral on social media.

Manya Anand reveals ‘adjustment’ messages allegedly from Dhanush’s team

Speaking to Cineulagam, Manya Anand said she first received a message from a man named Shreyas, who introduced himself as part of Dhanush’s team and asked, “There is a script—are you ready to act?” She said she immediately clarified her boundaries: “Even if it’s over-glamorous or romantic, I won’t do it. I will only act if the role has substance.”However, she alleged that the person persisted, asking, “Wouldn’t you commit even if it was a Dhanush film? There has to be a commitment with the hero.” Manya asserted that she refused without any compromise.

Actress claims multiple ‘suspicious offers’ from unknown managers

According to her, a few days later another person, again claiming to be a manager from Dhanush’s team, contacted her with a similar offer. Although he said he had sent her the script, she maintained that she never received or saw any such document. Manya highlighted that several actresses face these kinds of suspicious approaches, often without knowing whether the callers are genuine managers or fraudsters. She added that when she shared her experience with a co-star, the co-star said, “This could have happened without Dhanush’s knowledge.”

Fans react, recall earlier fraud warning from Dhanush’s manager

Reactions from Dhanush’s fans have been mixed. While some dismissed the claims as confusion created by haters, others pointed to an important detail—Dhanush’s manager, Shreyas, had issued a public warning months ago stating, “Some people are using my name to commit fraud.” Many netizens are now suggesting that Manya Anand may have been targeted by impersonators rather than anyone linked to the actor. However, her allegation has once again brought to light the vulnerabilities and challenges women in the entertainment industry continue to face.
