The Taj Story collected Rs 11 crore in Week 1, driven by the buzz around its politically charged narrative and Paresh Rawal’s impactful performance. Week 2 remained surprisingly robust, with the film recording Rs 6.67 crore, only a 40% drop, a significantly better hold than what is usually seen for films dealing with historical or political themes.
