Pranav Mohanlal’s horror thriller ‘Dies Irae’ which is directed by Rahul Sadasivan, continues its impressive theatrical run as it closes in on the Rs 40 crore milestone.After 17 days, the film has collected an estimated Rs 39.81 crore India net, marking one of Pranav’s strongest performances at the box office.

Third weekend sees significant growth

According to the reports from the Sacnilk website, ‘Dies Irae’ has maintained excellent momentum across Kerala. The film added Rs 52 lakhs on Friday which was followed by a sharp 71.15% jump on Saturday, collecting Rs 89 lakhs.Sunday’s early estimate stands at Rs 85 lakhs. The steady third weekend numbers come after a successful second week, during which the film earned Rs 11.1 crore.

Occupancy levels for ‘Dies Irae’

On its 17th day, the film recorded an overall 28.69% Malayalam occupancy, with afternoon and evening shows performing the best. Afternoon shows clocked 31.63%. The evenings followed closely at 31.46%. Morning and night shows also maintained respectable occupancies above the 22% and 29% range.

Starring Pranav Mohanlal, Arun Ajikumar, Jaya Kurup, Manohari Joy, and Gibin Gopinath, Dies Irae has been praised for its gripping narrative and Rahul Sadasivan’s haunting direction. Pranav Mohanlal’s stunning performance is also getting much love from the audiences.
