Breaking News: Sudden Fire in Almora Forest Sparks Major Environmental Concern

A sense of panic gripped Uttarakhand’s Almora district after a sudden fire broke out in the Tuni forest. The blaze rapidly spread across a large area, sending thick black smoke billowing into the sky. Firefighters rushed to the spot and worked for hours to bring the flames under control, carrying out prolonged cooling operations due to the high intensity of the fire. According to reports, the fire initially began on a small scale but quickly escalated into a massive blaze that the fire brigade struggled to contain. The flames moved dangerously close to residential areas, raising serious concerns for local authorities.Fortunately, no casualties were reported. The incident has once again highlighted the growing issue of forest fires and worsening air pollution in Uttarakhand.
