Sajid Nadiadwala’s kids call Divya Bharti ‘badi mummy’

Sajid Nadiadwala’s second wife Warda Nadiadwala, once revealed that her kids call Divya Bharti ‘badi mummy’: ‘She is still a part of our lives’

Divya Bharti was one of Bollywood’s top actresses, dazzling audiences with her talent and charm in films like ‘Deewana’, ‘Shola Aur Shabnam’, ‘Vishwatma’ and more. She was unstoppable, delivering hit after hit and quickly becoming the industry’s brightest young star. Amidst all the fame and attention, she secretly tied the knot with producer Sajid Nadiadwala in a private ceremony on 10 May 1992.

Divya Bharti’s tragic demise

Their fairy-tale marriage, however, was tragically short-lived. On 5 April 1993, Divya fell from a balcony at the age of 19, shocking the film industry and fans alike. Her sudden demise left everyone heartbroken and raised questions that remain unanswered even decades later. While her career ended abruptly, her memory continues to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and fans.

Sajid Nadiadwala’s second marriage

After some years, Sajid Nadiadwala married Warda Khan in 2000. She is now known as Warda Nadiadwala. The couple have two sons, Subhan and Sufyan.

How Warda keeps Divya’s memory alive

In a past interview with Bollywood Hungama, Warda had opened up about her husband’s first marriage. She said, “I know people keep throwing these questions sometimes. Sometimes they think I am being trolled. Divya is still very much a part of our lives. Her family, her dad, her brother Kunal, they are like our family.”

Sajid and Warda’s kids call Divya Bharti ‘Badi Mummy’

Warda explained that Divya’s family remains close to them, keeping her memory alive in their day-to-day lives. She continued, “So when you guys try to troll me, please know that I am not getting trolled. On her anniversaries and birthdays, we speak to each other. When my children watch her movies, they call her ‘Badi Mummy’. So, guys, she is still a very, very beautiful part of our lives.”

Warda Nadiadwala clarifies she never tried replaced Divya

Warda also made it clear that she has never tried to replace Divya. She said, “And I have not tried to replace her ever. I have made my own place. Memories are always beautiful. So, stop trolling me! She is a part of my life, and we are enjoying. Sometimes people say, ‘Divya Bharti bahot acchi thi. Of course, bahot acchi thi yaar.’” Go to Source
