Blake claims $161 million in losses

According to the latest report on Variety, Lively’s court filings claim that she has lost an estimated $161 million in damages. Listing down her losses, she claims $56.2 million was lost in past and future earnings from acting, producing, endorsements, and public appearances. The documents also allege that $49 million in losses were incurred for her beauty brand, while her beverage brand was hit with an additional $22 million. The actress is also claiming $34 million attributed to reputational harm from what her legal team describes as an alleged “smear campaign.” Her lawyers have argued that the negativity that the actress has received on social media has caused measurable harm, citing the 65 million negative impressions online since the dispute began.

Experts weigh in

However, experts note “These are wish list numbers,” said Gregory Doll, a Los Angeles attorney not directly involved in the case, in comments to Variety. “You want to put a big enough number to get the other side concerned and want to settle.”

Blake vs Baldoni trial date

Meanwhile, Blake’s trial, accusing Baldoni of sexual misconduct and of waging a smear campaign, is set for March 2026.

Blake’s star-studded witness list

Another aspect of this case making headlines is the rumoured list of potential witnesses named in Lively’s disclosure. Among them are said to be several high-profile celebs, including Taylor Swift, Emily Blunt, Gigi Hadid, Hugh Jackman, Scooter Braun, Ari Emanuel (CEO, Endeavor), Tony Vinciquerra (Chairman, Sony Pictures), and Tom Rothman (Chairman, Sony’s Motion Picture Group). Sony Pictures, through its Columbia Pictures division, produced and distributed ‘It Ends With Us’.

Baldoni’s defamation case dismissed

Early this week, Baldoni was in the headlines after his $400 million defamation lawsuit against actress Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and The New York Times was dismissed in a court ruling. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the case was dismissed after Baldoni chose not to appeal before a deadline. The court ruled that Lively’s allegations were part of a protected civil rights complaint and therefore could not serve as the basis for defamation. Go to Source
