Aryan Khan is set to make his big-screen directorial debut in 2026 after his OTT success with ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’. Though Shah Rukh Khan won’t lead in this film, Aryan aims for a fresh cinematic experience. His third directorial, planned for 2027, may star Shah Rukh Khan. Aryan Khan, who began his journey as a director with the OTT release The Ba***ds of Bollywood, is now set to make his big-screen directorial debut. He is currently working on an exciting project scheduled to begin filming in 2026. While the storyline and cast are being kept under wraps, reports suggest that Shah Rukh Khan will not be the protagonist. With this new film, Aryan aims to offer audiences a fresh and distinctive cinematic experience.

Earning the opportunity to direct Shah Rukh Khan

According to Pinkvilla, Aryan hopes to deliver a theatrical success and prove himself as a filmmaker before taking on the challenge of directing his father, Shah Rukh Khan. His goal is to earn that opportunity through merit and let his work speak for itself. If all goes as planned, Aryan’s third directorial will feature SRK in the lead. The father-son duo has already locked the core idea, but the collaboration is expected to take shape only in 2027. For now, Aryan is focused on completing the script for his second feature, which will soon enter the casting stage.
