Governance: Yogi says India has witnessed transformational change since 2014 under Modi’s leadership

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12-year tenure, describing it as a period of transformative governance and national development. He said India has undergone significant changes since 2014, with welfare schemes being implemented effectively and converted into mass movements. Highlighting flagship initiatives such as Jan Dhan Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, PM Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, PM Mudra, Stand-Up India, Startup India and Digital India, Yogi claimed these programmes have improved the lives of millions and helped lift 25 crore people out of poverty. He asserted that Uttar Pradesh has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of these schemes, citing housing, toilets, LPG connections, health insurance and free ration distribution as examples. The Chief Minister also emphasized women’s empowerment through initiatives like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Matru Vandana and Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, stating that the government’s focus has been on sustainable development, financial inclusion and providing equal opportunities to the poor, women, youth and farmers.
