As the video does the rounds of the internet, another video of his has also been popping up, the one where he explains the true meaning of Jihad. In the video from a press conference he says, “There is a word in our religion which is misused- Jihad. The thought process of Jihad is exactly the same – to conquer the bad thoughts inside us, to fight for it, that is called Jihad. Outside, killing people on the streets is not called Jihad,” King marks SRK’s first film with his daughter Suhana Khan, he and director Siddharth Anand has put together a stellar cast for the film with Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Raghav Juyal, Abhay Verma, Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. The film is slated to release in 2026 and will be Shah Rukh Khan’s first film after a gap of two years. He had returned to the big screen with Pathaan , Jawan and Dunki in 2023 after a 4 year long sabbatical after the failure of Zero. This year he was seen doing a cameo in son Aryan Khan’s debut directorial OTT show The Ba***ds of Bollywood where he played himself. In a world divided by misunderstanding, SRK’s interpretation of Jihad stands as a powerful reminder: peace begins within.
