‘Munjya’, the fourth entry in the Maddock Supernatural Universe, made a significant impact at the box office. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the movie stars Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, Sharvari, and S. Sathyaraj. Its plot is based on the legendary tale of Munjya, rooted deeply in Indian folklore and mythology.

Character insights from screenwriter Niren Bhatt

Niren Bhatt, the film’s screenwriter, explains that ‘Munjya’ is seen as a being that is simultaneously monstrous and childlike because it died young.
