Enrique charms Mumbai with his timeless hits

The 50-year-old global superstar, dressed in his signature all-black ensemble and cap, greeted fans with a warm “Namaste, Mumbai, raise your hands!” as he kicked off the 90-minute show. The crowd erupted as Enrique rolled out a medley of hits — from ‘Subeme La Radio’, ‘Be With You’, and ‘Heartbeat’ to his evergreen anthems ‘Hero’, ‘Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You)’, ‘Bailamos’, and ‘Bailando’.“It feels amazing to be back here. Thank you… thank you so much. I came here first in 2004,” Enrique said, as fans cheered him on, waving their phones and singing along in perfect harmony.

Star power meets fan frenzy

The concert turned into a mini red carpet event, with paparazzi capturing glimpses of the who’s who of B-town enjoying the evening. Malaika Arora, ever the fashion icon, looked effortlessly chic as she vibed to the music, while Rakul and Jackky shared light-hearted moments with friends.Several celebrities took to social media later to share snippets and praise the singer’s infectious energy. One attendee wrote, “Enrique still knows how to own the stage — what a night!”

Minor hiccups amid a night of magic

While the night was largely smooth, a few fans expressed disappointment over the traffic chaos around the venue and claimed that Enrique didn’t perform all his expected tracks. “He didn’t sing it all, I’m a bit disappointed,” said one concertgoer, while another called the road traffic “a complete mess.”Despite the logistical issues, the evening ended on a high as Enrique wrapped up with his global hit ‘Baby I Like It’, followed by a stunning fireworks display. This marked Enrique Iglesias’ third visit to India, after performances in the early 2000s and 2012.
