The legendary Rajinikanth was recently seen taking an economy flight to Goa, gearing up for the shoot of ‘Jailer 2.’ Onboard, his devoted fans buzzed with excitement, capturing selfies and celebrating his approachable attitude. The megastar acknowledged their enthusiasm with a charming wave. In ‘Jailer 2’, he will reprise his iconic role as the formidable Tiger Pandian.

Rajinikanth is currently working on his next film, ‘Jailer 2’. Amid the buzz around the film, a video of the superstar travelling to Goa on a flight has surfaced on the internet. This time, the Tamil superstar didn’t opt for a business class seat but, went ahead with an economy class seat.

A video posted by fans on social media showcased Rajinikanth boarding a flight and taking his seat. As per the video, a lot of passengers took out their phones and cheered for him. The actor reciprocated the love by waving at his fans before taking his seat.

However, many noted that the actor was seen sitting in the economy class row and not the business class. A fan posted on X and wrote, “Rajinikanth in an economy seat—yet the aura around him feels first class.” Another one added, “Superstar #Rajinikanth turns a flight into a mini theatre with his charm! On his way to Goa for the #Jailer2 next schedule.” One posted, “Very lucky fans.”

On the work front, Rajinikanth will next star in ‘Jailer 2’, helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar. He will be reprising his role as Muthuvel ‘Tiger’ Pandian. Ramya Krishnan will also be back in her character. Shiva Rajkumar will be making a special appearance in part two as well. Apart from that, he will also star in a movie co-starring Kamal Haasan. However, the official announcement has not been made yet. On the other hand, both actors have given their confirmation about it on several occasions.He was last seen in ‘Coolie’, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film starred Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra Rao, Shruti Haasan, and more. It was released in theatres on August 14, 2025.
