The series will explore the early life of Pennywise, his origin, and how terror first loomed over the town of Derry.

Released in 2017, ‘It’ is set in 1989. Directed by Andy Muschietti, the film follows a group of children known as the Losers Club. ‘It’ begins with a boy named Georgie Denbrough going missing, leading to the kids finding out about Pennywise.
