Salman Khan pays emotional tribute to Satish Shah: 'Known you since I was 15… life lived kingsize'

Salman Khan on Sunday took a trip down memory lane as he paid tribute to his friend and long-time collaborator, late actor Satish Shah. Hours after the actor’s funeral and cremation, Salman took to his social media handles to post an emotional tribute, mourning the loss of Satish, while also celebrating their time together.

Posting a screen-shot from their film ‘Judwaa’, Khan shared a particularly emotional message remembering his decades-long bond with the late actor. In a tweet, he wrote, “Known u since I was 15… life lived kingsize.. May your soul rest in peace. Will miss u Satish Ji…” Watch their hilarious scene below:

Satish Shah’s sudden demise shocks fans and friends

The film fraternity on Sunday, united to grieve the loss of the veteran actor, who passed away at the age of 74, due to kidney-related complications.Following his demise, reports state that Shah underwent a kidney transplant early this year as he wanted to ‘live for his wife Madhu’ who has reportedly been battling dementia.Shah was reportedly fine on Saturday afternoon. However, he suddenly collapsed while eating lunch, prompting his manager to rush him to the hospital. However, on his arrival, he was reportedly declared dead.

Shah cremated in Mumbai

Family members, close friends, and members of the film fraternity attended his funeral ceremony this afternoon, to pay their final respects. His mortal remains were kept at his Bandra (East) residence for viewing before the final rites.Nasserudin Shah, Tikku Talsania, David Dhawan, Rumy Jafry, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ali Asgar, Deepak Parashar, Harish Bhimani, Avtar Gill, Angan Desai, Pankaj Kapoor and Supriya Pathak were spotted at the cremation ground in Mumbai.
