In a major breakthrough, Delhi Police arrested notorious Arms Dealer Koku Pahadia following a fierce encounter in the Mehrauli area on Saturday. According to initial reports, the police had received intelligence regarding the movement of the wanted arms supplier. When officers reached the location, the accused opened fire, prompting police to retaliate.The exchange of gunfire lasted for several minutes, during which three police personnel were hit by bullets on their bulletproof jackets. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported. Police sources confirmed that the accused was overpowered and taken into custody after a brief chase.Recovered from the spot were several country-made weapons and ammunition, believed to be part of a larger arms trafficking network operating across Delhi and neighboring states. The Delhi Police Crime Branch is now interrogating the accused to gather more information about his associates and supply routes.Senior officers praised the bravery of the personnel involved, calling the operation a “major success” against illegal arms smuggling.
