KOLKATA: A Dubai-based YouTuber on an Air India flight from Kolkata to Mumbai was allegedly threatened by a co-passenger for not speaking Marathi, reports Tamaghna Banerjee. Mahi Khan, known by his social media channel and handle MahiNergy, claimed a woman seated behind him insisted he speak Marathi because he was travelling to Mumbai. When he asked her why she was misbehaving, Khan claimed the woman told him, “Mumbai utariye aapko badtameezi dikhati hu (When you get off in Mumbai, I’ll show you what misbehaviour is).” Khan alleged the cabin crew did not intervene. He recorded the exchange on his mobile phone and shared it online.
