Priyanka Chopra celebrated Diwali with family and friends, including Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie, sharing heartwarming moments of rituals and festivities on Instagram. She expressed joy in introducing the festival’s beauty to newcomers, highlighting the gathering of loved ones and the hope it signifies. Chopra also recommended her film ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ for those new to Bollywood.

Performing rituals and enjoying festivities

In the pictures, the actress is seen performing Lakshmi puja with Nick and Malti. She is also seen helping Malti fill colors in rangoli stencils. Dressed in a stunning red ethnic wear, she looked as gorgeous as ever. Nick, on the other hand, looked dapper in beige outfit.She captioned the lovely clicks, ‘A little bit of this and so much of that. This diwali was full of heart and love. Sharing this festival with people who haven’t discovered its beauty was the highlight this year. Especially Maltis friends. Happy Diwali to everyone celebrating. May this new year bring you love, joy, prosperity, and happiness.’

Priyanka on her favorite part of Diwali

Speaking to British Vogue about her favourite thing about Diwali, the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actress said, “(It marks the) coming together of friends, family, food and laughter. Also, just the joy of hope, as this festival is the victory of good over evil. In a world where everything is a little strange and tumultuous, I feel it gives me a lot of solace.” Talking about which of her movies she would recommend to someone who has never seen her work, the ‘Mary Kom’ actress revealed a suggestion from her husband, Nick Jonas. She said, “I know this answer only because my husband (singer-songwriter Nick Jonas) recommends this movie of mine to everyone who hasn’t seen Bollywood movies. It’s Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), and most of my friends who haven’t been exposed to Bollywood really love it. That’s a good one, I think.”
