The movie has shown impressive numbers in the past few days, earning Rs 8.5 crore on Friday, Rs 12.75 crore on Saturday, Rs 17 crore on Sunday, Rs 11.65 crore on Monday, and Rs 11.95 crore on Tuesday. In its second week, ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ collected Rs 147.85 crore, following a massive Rs 337.4 crore in its first week.

Film continues to appeal across India

Though a Kannada film, ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ has found audiences in other states as well. It has been well received in the Hindi belt, Telugu states, and Tamil Nadu, besides overseas markets.
