Despite the film’s success and the praise she received, the actress revealed that the character didn’t align with her personal comfort zone.‘I wasn’t comfortable in my own skin’Speaking to Idlebrain, Anupama explained that if offered a similar role today, she would turn it down. “If someone comes and gives me a Tillu-like character now, I won’t do it. Not because the team was bad—everything was great—but I just wasn’t comfortable in my own skin doing that role,” she said. She admitted the journey was far from smooth, adding that she often felt “bad, disappointed, and not confident” during the shoot. “That’s not who I am, and I wasn’t able to be that person,” she shared.
