'OG' box office collections day 22: Pawan Kalyan’s actioner sees mere Rs 28 lakhs; Box office slows at Rs 192.69 cr

Pawan Kalyan’s ‘They Call Him OG’ is facing a steep decline in box office success after an impressive start, now struggling with occupancy dropping below 20% and daily earnings falling under Rs 1 crore just 22 days in.

‘They Call Him OG’ starring Pawan Kalyan is now seeing a steep decline in its theatrical performance. The Sujeeth directorial initially stormed theatres with record-breaking collections. But now, after 22 days, the film has slowed down considerably as it enters its fourth weekend.According to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, the film collected only Rs 28 lakhs on Day 22. This signals an approaching end to its theatrical run.The movie’s overall India net collection now stands at Rs 192.69 crore, including its Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada versions.

Occupancy drops below 20% across shows

The 22nd day saw an average Telugu occupancy of just 15.89%. Reportedly the morning shows recorded 14.41%, and evening shows marginally higher at 17.14%. The night shows managed a modest 16.46% occupancy.In its third week, the film’s daily earnings have remained below Rs 1 crore. This marks a steep drop from its Week 1 total. The Week 2 collection stood at Rs 18.5 crore. This registers 89% fall compared to the opening week.

The collections dropping each day clearly indicates that the theatrical run is almost over for the Pawan Kalyan starrer.
