Shahid Kapoor’s biggest pay cheque for ‘Farzi 2’

The first season of ‘Farzi’ received massive appreciation, and the second season is already generating buzz. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, “Farzi is in the writing stage, and Amazon Prime, along with Raj and DK, are excited to start the shoot for the second season from January 2026. Shahid has allotted six months to the shoot and is getting a fat pay cheque.”

The report further revealed, “Shahid is drawing Rs 40 crore for Farzi 2. This is the biggest pay cheque of his career, stemming from the appreciation received by the first part.” His previous pay ranged between Rs. 25-30 crore per film. The enormous fee reflects the appreciation for the first season and the confidence of makers in Shahid’s star power. With this, Shahid joins the elite list of highest-paid OTT actors in India, alongside Ajay Devgn, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Pankaj Tripathi.

While preparing for ‘Farzi 2’, Shahid is currently shooting ‘Cocktail 2’ in Italy. Directed by Homi Adajania, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon alongside Shahid. As per reports, the shoot is expected to wrap up by December 2025, with a summer 2026 release planned.
