The absence of key characters like Steve, Max, and Eleven has fueled debate about whether the image signifies the beginning or end of the final season’s intense battle, set in the fall of 1987.

‘Stranger Things’ is one of the fan-favorite sci-fi dramas that has been keeping the audience glued to the edge of their seats from the first installment. And now, with the release date of the fifth and final season just around the corner, the anticipation levels are on another level. Amid all this, one leaked picture from the upcoming drama has left fans confused, excited, and speculating!

The said picture features a calm breakfast moment, where the Byers and Wheelers can be seen bonding over food and more. Sharing the picture, one of the X (formerly called Twitter) users wrote, “I have so many questions – Where’s Steve and Max Lucas Dustin and Eleven??? Did we win? Is this at the end or beginning??” Below the same post, another user penned, “This is definitely the beginning. I don’t think some of these characters will be here if this were the end.” “The Byers are starting with the Wheelers bc they don’t have a house in Hawkins anymore,” shared another X user. “I feel like this is gonna be the opening scene for episode 1,” chimed in another netizen.

‘Stranger Things Season 5’?

Set in the fall of 1987, the battle is going to be more intense than ever, as the military arrives in Hawkins looking for Eleven. This is touted to be the one final mission, with which the series will come to an end.
