‘Priya Sachdev was Sunjay Kapur’s soulmate,’ says their friend

‘Priya Sachdev was Sunjay Kapur’s soulmate, partner,’ posts Kalyani Saha Chawla on late businessman’s birth anniversary

Kalyani Saha Chawla paid tribute to late businessman Sunjay Kapur on his birth anniversary, highlighting his meticulous planning for his family’s future. This comes amidst a legal battle where Kapur’s children, represented by their mother Karisma Kapoor, are accusing his widow Priya Sachdev of forging his will to claim his fortune.

Kalyani Saha Chawla of ‘The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’ took to social media on the occasion of late businessman Sunjay Kapur’s birth anniversary. Sharing a heartfelt note on Instagram, she expressed that the departed soul had planned his life “meticulously” and cared deeply for everyone he was responsible for.Kapur’s widow, Priya Sachdev, is currently involved in a legal battle with Karisma Kapoor’s children over the succession of his massive fortune.

What Kalyani Saha Chawla posted on Instagram

Kalyani shared unseen photos of Sunjay Kapur and Priya Sachdev on her Instagram. Alongside the pictures, the actress wrote:”For a man who planned his life meticulously and everybody else’s who he was responsible for… for their entire future… a man whose long-term goals were only to build on the happiness that Priya and he worked so hard to bring about.”She added, “This beautiful blended family of camaraderie. A rare feat in the world we live in. The biggest example of what love really looked like. With Priya. His soulmate and partner, who truly was the woman behind this very successful man he became.”

Remembering an ideal husband and father

Kalyani also called the late tycoon an ideal husband. She wrote, “Sunjay was a husband to Priya, setting goals of what it really means to be in a relationship. He was a dedicated father who had worked on a constitution, literally, to make sure the children would always be okay. And it is this very planning, in his methodical OCD manner, that today I see crumbling as the love is fragmented. Grief brings in confusion. Loss brings in insecurities.”

Wishing peace for his soul

Her post further read, “But Sunj had worked so hard to make sure that even today nobody can really question that. I want my Sunj to rest in peace. I want him to know (someday soon) there may have been a hiccup, but it’s water under that bridge. He always made ripples… all his life. But he needs to know this storm needs to pass for the calm to bring back his dearest ones… together and in harmony. I pray for his soul to rest in peace… Soon. Last but not least, thank you for giving Tahira a godbrother. @priyaskapur.”

The case

The legal dispute surrounding Sunjay’s will has garnered attention in recent months. Samaira and Kiaan, Karisma Kapoor’s children, have taken Priya to court, claiming that she forged the will.
