'Shakthi Thirumagan' OTT release date: When and where to watch Vijay Antony's political drama

Vijay Antony’s political thriller ‘Shakthi Thirumagan’, a tale of revenge and social justice, is set for an OTT release on October 24. The film, which garnered positive reviews and a good box office run, follows a young man’s quest for justice after his mother’s murder. Available in Tamil and dubbed versions, it promises a blend of emotion and action.

Vijay Antony’s latest film ‘Shakthi Thirumagan’ is now gearing up for an OTT release. The political thriller directed by Arun Prabhu was released in theatres on September 19. ‘Shakthi Thirumagan’, which was released on the same day as Kavin’s ‘Kiss’ and Kalaiyarasan and Dinesh’s ‘Thandakaaranyam’, received a mostly positive reception from fans and critics. It has also recorded a good collection record so far at the box office.

‘Shakthi Thirumagan’ – a gripping tale of revenge and social justice

Set against a social and political backdrop, the film ‘Shakthi Thirumagan’ centres on the life of a young man named Kitty, who is adopted by an old man after his mother is brutally murdered. After growing up, he decides to find the person responsible for his mother’s death. The film is a powerful portrayal of power, political violence, and the struggle for social justice. Offering a balance of emotion and action to the audience, the film will be streaming on a popular digital platform from October 24. An official announcement has been made by the digital partner. Along with the original Tamil version, Vijay Antony’s film will also be streaming in Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam dubbed versions.

All about ‘Shakthi Thirumagan’

Directed by Arun Prabhu, ‘Shakthi Thirumagan’ stars Vijay Antony along with Sunil Kiripalani, Trupti Ravindra, Girish Hassan, Vaagai Chandrasekhar, Cel Murugan, and Master Keshav in important roles. The music is composed by Vijay Antony himself, who is also the producer of the film. Critics have praised the songs and background score for giving the film a proper feel for its political central storyline. Technically, the film is of a high standard. Shelley Callist, who teamed up with Arun Prabhu of ‘Aruvi’ fame, has handled the cinematography, while Raymond Derrick Crusta has handled the editing. The trio has reunited after the film ‘Vaazh’, which was released in 2021.
