Brad Pitt’s Formula 1 drama, ‘F1: The Movie,’ has captivated audiences worldwide, crossing the USD 620 million box office mark. The film, featuring Pitt as a returning driver, is set for a digital premiere on THIS streaming platform, after a successful theatrical run and re-release in India. The film received a lot love and appreciation from the audience in India as well.

Brad Pitt’s sports movie ‘F1: The Movie’ received massive love from the audience across the globe following its theatrical release on June 27. After breaking several records at the box office, and racing past the $620 million mark, the film is now all set to make its digital debut.Here’s when and where you can watch the film online.

The Brad Pitt starrer was not just a hit among the foreign audience but also in India. Despite its upcoming digital debut, the film is still in demand and drawing crowds at the theatres in the metro cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai. For the unversed, the film was re-released in cinemas due to high demand from the audience in early August.According to the report, the film still has a few weeks to go in theatres before it is expected to arrive on the OTT platform on December 12, 2025. The sports-action movie will premiere on Apple TV and has been available to rent on Amazon Prime Video since August this year.

Story

In the movie, Brad plays the role of Sonny Hayes, an aging driver who returns to Formula 1, which he left due to an injury in the 1990s, to assist a struggling team to remain in the competition. Jerry Bruckheimer and Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton have produced the movie.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the film’s cast also includes Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, and Tobias Menzies.According to the Box Office Mojo report, the film has earned over USD 628 million at the global box office. Meanwhile, as per the Sacnilk report, in India, the movie went on to collect Rs 105.35 crore at the box office.
