Alec Baldwin’s car crash in the Hamptons: Brother Stephen ‘is doing fine,’ confirms his publicist

Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin and his brother Stephen Baldwin were recently in a very tragic accident, as their car crashed into a huge tree in East Hampton, New York. It was Alec’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin’s, premium car, which sustained significant damage on the front-end. Fortunately, neither Alec nor Stephen has been gravely injured. While the former shared the news about the accident on social media and confirmed his well-being, the latter’s publicist told the media that Stephen is doing fine.

The 59-year-old Stephen was in the Hamptons to attend a film festival with his brother, Alec Baldwin. While speaking to USA Today, Stephen’s publicist, James Moore, confirmed that the actor is safe. “Stephen is doing fine and is grateful no one was injured. He appreciates the concern, and he can confirm that he and Alec are both safe and well,” read his statement to the portal.

Taking to his social media handle, Alec said that the crash happened when another driver abruptly cut him off, and to avoid hitting him, he hit a big tree. “This morning, I was in a car accident. A guy cut me off in a truck, a big garbage truck the size of a whale. To avoid hitting him, I hit a tree. I hit a big, fat tree. It crushed my wife’s car. I feel bad about that. It’s all fine; I’m fine. My brother’s fine,” he mentioned before, thanking local authorities for their assistance. Last but not least, the actor added he is going to LA to meet his family. “Can’t wait. Hilaria, I’m very proud of you,” he said, referencing her recent participation in Dancing with the Stars.
